The Port of Helsinki

The Port of Helsinki is Finland's major cargo and passenger traffic port. The completion of Vuosaari Harbour will further strengthen the Port of Helsinki's role as the main port for Finland's foreign trade. The Vuosaari Harbour, which is the most modern harbour by the Baltic Sea, will double the cargo capacity of the Port of Helsinki. The transit traffic can also be served efficiently.

The Vuosaari Harbour has been in use since March 2008 and it specialises in container, truck and trailer traffic. The benefits of using the harbour include frequent connections to the most important European ports, competitive and diverse harbour and logistics services, and direct transport links to Finland's major road and rail networks.
